Privacy Controls

Privacy controls let you keep the app running without sharing everything you play.

What private session does

Private session clears Discord presence and can stop scrobbling while it is enabled.

Keyword filters

Keyword filters hide tracks that match configured words or phrases. Use them for artists, titles, albums, podcasts, or anything else you do not want shown.

Where to change it

Open Settings or use the in-app Amazon Music RPC status menu when available. Toggle private session on or off as needed.

What to check

  • If Discord status is missing, check private session first.
  • If only some tracks are hidden, check keyword filters.
  • If scrobbling pauses unexpectedly, check private session settings.

Privacy rules are local settings. They control what the app sends to Discord and optional scrobbling services.
